Sony didn't announce anything new, rather, a PlayStation patent from a few months ago was uncovered, revealing an enticing PS5 concept.

'PS5 Pro' dual GPU concept

The patent, titled "Scalable Game Console CPU/GPU Pattern for Dwelling Console and Cloud Gaming" describes a concept panel with ii GPUs and two CPUs. It uses those actress fries to divide and conquer — letting 1 GPU handle HDMI frame output afterwards receiving info from the other GPU.

"The frames rendered by the second GPU are unlike from the frames rendered by the starting time GPU. The outset and 2nd outputs may be combined to return the video."

Further into the abstruse are different methods for implementing a 2 GPU setup, and descriptions about what each element would be responsible for.

As exciting as this sounds, the patent does bring upward some technical hurdles introduced when two GPUs are involved. Information technology says that this high-terminate version with multiple SoCs "poses challenges to the software and simulation (game) pattern, which must scale accordingly."
